Event Guidelines

Dog Requirements

• Dogs must be friendly, social, and comfortable in group settings
• Small dogs only (generally 30 lbs and under)
• Dogs showing aggressive or disruptive behavior may be asked to take a break or leave
• Up-to-date vaccinations are required (rabies, bordetella, etc. depending on venue).
• If your dog is exhibiting any coughing, diarrhea or illness of any kind, please do not attend the meet-up for the safety of other dogs.

Safety & Responsibility

• You are responsible for your dog at all times
• Please monitor play closely and step in if needed
• Clean up after your dog immediately (accidents happen — just be prepared)
• Keep dogs leashed unless the space is clearly designated off-leash (we try to have off leash opportunities at most if not all of our meet-ups)

Treats & Food

• Please only give treats to your own dog
• Be mindful of allergies and sensitive stomachs
• No feeding other dogs without owner permission

Event Etiquette

• Arrive on time to help events run smoothly
• Be respectful of the space, hosts, and other attendees
• If your dog seems overwhelmed, it’s okay to step out and reset

Community Vibe

• This is a friendly, inclusive, judgment-free group
• Be kind and respectful to all members (and their pups)
• No negative behavior, conflicts, or confrontations

Policies

• No refunds or transfers unless otherwise specified (events are self-funded and planned in advance)
• Spots are first-come, first served and confirmed by payment
• No soliciting, selling, or promoting without prior approval

• By attending, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed or filmed for use in Cavapoo Friends NYC content.
• Feel free to share your photos and tag @cavapoofriendsnyc

Final Note

• Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and positive experience for all dogs and humans.
• If guidelines aren’t followed, you may be asked to leave the event.
